Unstoppable Dreams

Honda has a legacy of winning championships, building iconic vehicles, and making dreams a reality. But as the company’s founder once said, “Success is 99% failure.” Failure is a necessary part of chasing one’s dreams, which is why we embraced it in our brand campaign for Honda.

We used a reverse poem technique to illustrate that no failure is insurmountable, and that dreams become unstoppable when powered by determination.

Responses to the brand film have been overwhelmingly positive.

We implemented an OOH takeover in Las Vegas during the Formula One Grand Prix, with large digital spectaculars right by the track.

We adapted the reverse poem to our print ad. Once readers read the negative version of the poem, they were prompted to flip the page upside-down to read the lines in the positive, reverse direction.
